New Life, Same Love
Each new birth brings such joy to the family, one that can't fully be described in words. But what happens when that joy is followed by the terror of a scary diagnosis? In this moment, when all hope seems lost, we must remain calm and remember that we are not in control and that God has the same love for all of His children, just as we do, whether they are born with an illness, or born without. See, God so loved the world, and all of his creations that even when some seem flawed, they are beautiful in his sight and His love does not waiver. So today I pray, for all the families who have children born with any illness such as a congenital heart defect, that you do not lose hope and that in that hope you will find God's blessing and true love.
Jeremiah 29:11tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
His love is everlasting. In it, may we be filled with hope.
